How We Promoted A Misfits Boxing Main Event Through X (Twitter)

Speed

Being first to a topic is crucial in every form of media, there is a huge first mover advantage. Therefore, before JMX headlined MF & DAZN: X Series 006 with Le'Veon Bell in Ohio, we had to keep updated with everything happening in the influencer boxing space so that we could make posts that had a far better chance of 'going viral'. 

We watched countless YouTube videos and read hundreds of articles to ensure we understood every intracacy of the YouTube Boxing world.

Strategy

Given Joel's substantial following already on X, quote Tweets were our best method. It enabled his following to see the original tweet, whilst also adding his own thoughts and ideas. 

We know that posts with images often outperforms purely text on X and therefor ensured as many posts as possible included images or videos.

Brand Alignment

When running a social media account for a creator or brand, they can often be concerned about maintaining the 'voice' of the brand. After all, it's not them actually posting. 

We went above and beyond in our research and dialogue with Joel to ensure we created posts that looked authentic, whilst also going viral.
